DEATH TO OPTIMUM

My whole Sunday has passed in torment and hell.

I waited for Optimum to ring the bell.

I’ve been in hell for a week already.

This is not me being mean or petty.

No phone or internet for a week.

I’ve been so upset I couldn’t sleep.

Many hours later, I heard the news.

No one was coming to relieve my blues.

They might return Tuesday or maybe not.

Who needs the internet on days so hot?

“Death to Optimum,” I say.

Time is past for them to pay.

Blood will fall if they don’t fix their mistakes.

I can see a few heads sitting on stakes.

BLOOD

1 Nights come alive

I’m surrounded by blood,
Blood on the walls
And flowing through my veins.

Blood is thicker than water
And much more intense
As it trickles and oozes as it pleases.

It flows through family members
Like a disease that can’t be stopped,
Bringing with it torment and anguish.

I can’t escape the
Fingers crawling down the walls
And circling around me.

My only recourse is escape
From the walls caving in
As I tunnel my way out.

I want to be free from the evil
Destroying me from within,
Free from the despair and agony.

NIGHTMARES

Creepy

(Source: weheartit.com)

My nightmares haunt me.

They torment me each night.

They follow me,

Giving my heart a fright.

I’ve put my demons in my book

To ease my troubled mind.

Why don’t you take a closer look,

And see what you can find.

THE DEAD GAME

DANGLING HORROR

DANGLING HORROR

It dangles before me.

A horror to be felt.

All consuming.

Almost tasted.

Walls closing in.

Becoming a coffin.

My fears locked in.

Waiting to be unleashed.

Darkness holds me.

Stiff as a corpse.

A tiny dot of light.

A peek at my tormentor.

A glimpse of hell.

OUR GAMES HAVE JUST BEGUN — THE DEAD GAME —

Our games have just begun.

THE DEAD GAME

BURNING BRIGHT

Anger can burn red.
Red as the sky at sunset.

An emotion so hot.
It bubbles to the surface.

It can control your mind.
Take over your soul.

You can try to control it.
To stamp it down.

Some people cause it.
Without a backward glance.

Their selfish ways.
Their callous attitudes.

A fury ignites inside.
A fire burns bright.

As bright as the sky above.
A reflection of my tormented soul.

HE’S BACK

doorway in forest

He’s back.

How could this be so?

My life has been happy.

I should have known.

He will never rest easy.

Without me to torment.

Without me in his arms.

A door is opening for me.

Deep in the dark forest.

He’s tempting me with sunshine.

Sunlight on warm beaches.

His hand is reaching for me.

I must turn away.

And run from his sweet words.

His spirit is all around me.

Enveloping me in its coldness.

He whispers promises in my ear.

He will come for me tonight.

I won’t recognize his body.

He’s coming in a different package.

He’s replaced one of our own.

But I will be prepared and ready.

I will not be fooled again.

The Dead won’t win.

Can’t win.
