The sun will shine again.
You will stroll with a friend.
Colorful flowers will take bloom.
Normality will be back soon.
The sun will shine again.
You will stroll with a friend.
Colorful flowers will take bloom.
Normality will be back soon.
Spring break is here.
Nothing to fear.
The hotels sit empty.
The Dead party plenty.
THE DEAD GAME
Flowering tower.
Spring is in the air.
I feel the sun on my face.
I can smell the pie baking.
I hear the birds chirping.
I can even taste the warm
and salty air.
Bring it on.
I’m ready.
Flowering tower.
Spring is in the air.
Sunshine.
Flowers.
Birds chirping.
Pies baking.
I can feel it.
I can smell it.
I can hear it.
I can taste it.
Bring it on.
Winters Warmth by ALAN KINGWELL
Winter is leaving.
Snow is melting.
Flowing into the rivers.
The lakes.
The seas.
Go away.
Far away.
When will it bloom?
How long do I have to wait?
I’m ready for spring.
I’m ready for flowers.
Watch it bloom.
Watch it grow.
The pretty fragrance.
Sweet as perfume.
The beautiful color.
Pink like cotton candy.
Face to the sun.
As innocent as a child.
Soft petals.
Velvet to the touch.
When will it bloom?
How long do I have to wait?
Must I wait for the snow to fall?
Go away, snow.
I’ve had enough.
No more slush.
No more ice for me.
I’m ready for spring.
I’m ready for flowers.
I’m eager to see the first buds.
The first blooms of the season.
How about one little rose?
That would be enough.
Let it bloom.
Let’s serve roses for dessert.
If we can’t have them in our gardens,
we might as well have them for dinner.
Here’s to spring fever!
(via 500px / Skagit Valley Tulips and Mt Baker Portrait by Kevin Hartman)
I’m ready for spring.
I close my eyes and see
a field of purple tulips.
When I open them, I still see
snow on my grass.
I’ll just keep hoping and dreaming.
Eventually it will come true.
I LIKE MY ROSES RED.
THE COLOR OF A ROSE
Roses can be red,
They can be pink,
They can be yellow,
or they can be black.
It all depends upon your perspective.
