The night holds
You too tight.
You belong to us now.
I say this with a bow.
You will follow us to hell
As we ring the nightly bell.
Our servant you will be.
You’ll never be set free.

The mind can be a strange place.
It can create dark stories.
With monsters and demons.
A little murder and mayhem.
Skulls and bones for decoration.
Maybe your cup of tea is blood.
Your coffee carries poison.
Let your mind roam the darkness.
And maybe beyond.
WE’RE HERE
A walk through the cemetery.
Darkness is my friend.
The moon my best buddy.
Shining stars to keep me company.
“Who goes there?”
A voice calls in the distance.
Is that the night watchman?
Has he seen somebody?
Should I continue walking?
All is quiet.
The mist moves.
It parts, and I can see—
What is that?
Skeletons are rising from graves.
And I can hear the music.
They are dancing to the beat.
Skulls are swiveling.
Bony feet are tapping.
Who knew a cemetery
could be such fun?
FOLLOW THE LIGHTS
Follow the lights to the house of glass.
There will be much splendor in the grass.
Lights in the trees as far as the eye could see.
A more decadent event there could not be.
Champagne will be flowing until the wee hours.
Come with me and dance among the pretty flowers.
This room full of guests gives me a chill.
Maybe we should leave I’ve had my fill.
Eyes are following us in the room.
They will be upon us all too soon.
The guests are not what they appear.
Beneath they are just bones and hair.

ONLY THE DEAD KNOW
We might look human
but we’re not.
We might act human
but we love to kill.
Our fearless leader
shows no mercy.
Who is he?
Will he show his face?
Only The Dead know.

Orgy of the Dead (1965)
They’re coming.
They are rising.
From the earth they come
To finish their lifelong battle.
A spell had vanquished them.
Can another one return them?
To their hell below.
To where they belong.
A priest and his spell book.
Is it enough?
