ONCE IS ENOUGH
The simple.
The pure.
The first time.
Done once.
Done the right way.
ONCE IS ENOUGH
The simple.
The pure.
The first time.
Done once.
Done the right way.
Welcome the night
And its good friend, the moon.
Do not take flight
From the man in the moon.
Let the moon take over
From the sun’s bright reign.
Let the sun take cover
Without severe pain.
A thick blanket will fall,
Giving the earth security.
Darkness will cover all
With its fine grace and purity.
For the sun, no need to pine.
Don’t waste precious time mourning.
The stars will twinkle and shine.
The sun will rise come morning.

Look to the glowing skies,
Magic before my eyes.
Snow flutters to the ground
Without even a sound.
Masking the dirt with white,
So pretty and so bright.
I hope it can remain this way,
A blanket for one more day.
In a bottle.
So sweet and pure.
Let it be free.
To swim once more.
This is what life is all about.
The simple.
The pure.
The first time.
Done once.
And done the right way.

Life could be so simple.
So pure.
The sun on your face.
The sand between your toes.
The cries of sea gulls.
The smell of salt water.
What else could be needed?

Fantastic Mr. Fox Doesn’t Feel So Fantastic
What might he be pondering?
Did he lose a friend?
Is he sad because he’s alone?
Do you ever want to be inside
an animal’s head to hear his thoughts?
Do you think they might be
similar to our thoughts?
They might be.
All we know is that he isn’t planning
on revenge.
Animals’ thoughts are less calculating
and purer than ours.
So what are you thinking Mr. Fox?
Rain washes away all impurities.
It leaves the ground fresh and new.
The fragrance of grass and flowers
floats in the clean air.
A good time to create and write.
A good time to start anew.
A new day for all.
