It grows dark.
We look to the moon
to bask in its glow.
A halo of blue
falls to earth.
Blue against orange
to shine in the night.

TICKLE MY TOES
They tickle my toes.
They line up in rows.
Oh! What can they be?
A starfish or three?
The water has a pink shine.
Too many colors to rhyme.
Red for my long, long hair.
Orange fish who swim near.
Yellow for the rays of the sun.
Blue for the water that’s so fun.
I can stay here the whole day.
The seagulls have come to play.
The birds circle around me.
Yes! It’s the best place to be.
Split Rock Magic by RJIPhotography on Flickr.
Red glows the sky.
I can see it
from way up high.
The water below
like a mirror I
can say hello.
The wind comes in.
I am chilled from
windows too thin.
This is still my place,
I wouldn’t trade it
for any other place.

I am hiding being green.
On this leaf, I won’t be seen.
Feet sliding in the dew.
Orange eyes watching you.
I bet you can’t spot me.
I am one with this tree.

I’m hiding by being green.
On this leaf I won’t be seen.
Feet sliding in the dew.
Orange eyes watching you.
I bet you can’t spot me.
I am one with this tree.
It’s Never Too Late To Learn 🙂
A picture of life inside.
A window so hard to find
Of laughter and love
Would fit like a glove.
Soft music I can hear.
I want to be right there
With the people having fun
Lit up orange like the sun.
Light radiates from within.
Part the purple leaves,
And you’ll see it.
The orange glow.
A life force that shimmers,
Transcending time and space.
The eternity of nature.
Howautumnal
Whipping through the air
In colors of orange and green.
Falling by your feet,
A playground for a child.
The child in you.
