IN THE PINK

I gaze at the pink sea so pure,

A vision of delight for sure.

The sun is setting down,

But there’s no reason to frown.

I could see the ocean floor.

Look at me I’m out the door.

The sun may be gone for the day.

The moon will soon be here to play.

BRING THE PAIN

Source:

The sun hides its head

While the waves rage on.

The clouds turn away

While blood rushes on.

The moon shies away

While the tide meets rock.

Faces hide in vain

While the seas bring the pain.

WELCOME THE NIGHT

WELCOME THE NIGHT

Welcome the night
And its friend, the moon.
Don’t take flight
From the man in the moon.

Let the moon take over
From the sun’s bright reign.
Let the sun take cover
Without hesitation or pain.

A thick blanket will fall,
Covering the earth with security.
Darkness will cover all
With its grace and purity.

The stars will twinkle and shine.
For the sun, do not pine.
It will be back tomorrow morning
So no need for any worrying.

NIGHT

quietmoodygirlbenjoyment: Last night’s Supermoon.

The moon creeps

through the maze of clouds,

a dark blanket

where stars sparkle and shine.

Time to welcome the dark shadows,

the nightwalkers,

the dreamers,

the ghosts of the past.

Welcome the night creatures

who are brave enough

to face the night.

For the night is here to stay.

THE CRIMSON REFLECTION

THE CRIMSON REFLECTION

The sky’s crimson reflection

mars the ocean’s blue surface.

As the sun sets for the night,

it hides behind the darkening clouds.

The sky dips into its bag of tricks

to bring forth a yellowed moon.

As the sky becomes inky black,

the water flows blood red.

From the murky depths,

dark creatures rise this night.

Onto our crisp white shores, they walk,

leaving bloody footprints in the sand.
