PUFFS OF SMOKE

Demonic (2015)

Light the dark path.

Through the dense woods.

To the house on the edge.

Where many have gone.

Follow the puffs of smoke.

Through the rocks and brush.

To the end of the trail.

Where many have gone.

SECRETS

Come with me.

I want to visit the forest.

The one behind town.

Where the wealthy live.

In their fancy mansions.

Where they have parties.

At night.

Always at night.

We are going.

We’ll see what they’re hiding.

I’m tired of secrets.

I’m tired of lies.

We will uncover the truth.

We might be sorry.

But we’ll finally know the truth.

FINAL DEFEAT

He follows close on the heels of my escape.

I mustn’t let him take me prisoner.

I refuse to bend to his whims and ways.

Wolf’s footsteps echo in the lonely forest.

I can feel his breath on the back of my neck.

Time for me to admit my final defeat.

A HOLE IN THE WOODS

A HOLE IN THE WOODS

A  circle of fear.

We mustn’t go near.

It calls in the night.

A harrowing sight.

Pebbles and dirt are pulled in.

It offers a deadly sin.

The Dead are waiting inside.

I’m going to run and hide.

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE

Source:

Trees ahead of us.

Trees behind us.

Surrounding us.

Moving closer.

All we can see

Is that light ahead.

Leading us somewhere.

Leading us to the house.

Are we crazy to go there?

INTO THE WOODS WE GO

into the woods

Into the woods,

Into the woods we go,

Past the dead trees,

Into the darkness,

Where they wait.

They wait for us

In the vacant house,

At the edge of the woods,

Above the steep cliff,

Where nothing grows.

A PATH

A Path

A PATH

A path through the trees.

Past moss and thick vines.

Bushes are shaking.

Animals are scurrying.

Leaves are falling.

Birds are fleeing.

Must get home.

The forest is dark at night.

Too dark to be safe.

I can’t move.

Vines are twirling around my feet.

I’m trapped.

The forest has taken me.

INTO THE WOODS WE GO

INTO THE WOODS WE GO

Into the woods we go.

What’s in store we don’t know.

A green light is following us through

In shades of yellow and even blue.

The birds have disappeared from sight.

I can hear their wings taking flight.

A house stands in the clearing up ahead.

Off to the side is a broken down shed.

Two people are waiting at the door.

Can it be us they are looking for?

It is us they are staring at.

The man is waving his top hat.

This feels like one of those fairy tales.

The man is wearing top hat and tails.

The sky has just turned pitch black.

I want to turn and go back.

I can’t see the house or couple anymore.

I have a feeling that we are all done for.

INTO THE WOODS

magic-spelldust: by JoannaRzeznikowska

What lies in the dark woods?
What lies in wait for us?
Should we enter?
Should we go to the party?
A party in a deserted house.
A house with a long history
of deaths and disappearances.
Why are we going?
Why are we here now?
Because we are in a horror story.
We must go.
We must follow our curiosity.
To the mansion left to decay
on the coast of Florida.
It should be a paradise.
But not at night.
The night brings surprises.
And many surprises for us.
Come with us on our journey
to End House.
A house controlled by The Dead.
Fun and games in store for us.

INTO THE WOODS

elinka: Olari Ionut

The trees are alive.

They are moving.

They are surrounding me.

Touching me with

their skinny arms.

Throwing leaves

in my face.

They are now circling me.

Their arms reaching

up to the sky.

Closing off the light.

Blocking the sun.

Why is this happening?

What did I do to deserve this?

Hey!

Stop touching me.

Stop pulling on me.

What’s that sound?

A high-pitched sound.

Oh.

That’s my alarm clock.
