follows your footsteps,
and no one is safe,
escape to a place,
where life and death merge
to become one existence
that continues for eternity.

Frozen in place.
Dripping tears for centuries.
Memories of a lifetime.
Praying for salvation.
A frown for eternity.
Will her tears sprout
a garden for The Dead?

PREY FOR THE DEAD: Book Two
ONE SONG
Sing me a love song.
Rhyme me a sad tale.
The woe of heartbroken lovers
whose tinny cries take to the air.
The needle rides the grooves.
Round in a circle, it goes.
No beginning or end.
Like a tear that refuses to fall.
A song without an end.
The melody echoes through eternity.
One jump and scratch at a time.
Take me away in the soft breeze.
Let my fingers flow through your hair.
I want to see your warm smile.
I hunger for your loving touch.
Time for that is long past.
Victims of the battle we now are.
Hell is waiting for us both.
I can see his boat drifting offshore.
I will not let him take me.
I want to share paradise with you.
Warm breezes and soft winds
To wrap us tight in its cocoon.
No more glory to be had.
No more wins for our side.
Our losses are steep and many.
The mighty have fallen this night.
The sun has set for the evening.
It has not brought you back to me.
I will wait for all eternity
Until I have you by my side.
OUR GAMES HAVE JUST BEGUN

THE LIGHT FROM WITHIN
A force of nature.
Part the purple leaves,
and you’ll see it.
The orange glow.
The life force that shimmers within,
Transcending time and space.
The eternity of nature.
The storm approaches the shore.
Dampness fills the air.
Mist sprays against my face.
Thunder rumbles in the distance.
Flashes light the darkening sky.
Yes, I can feel it.
It’s almost here.
Will I lose myself to it?
Will it bring me down to its depths?
I spread my arms wide.
Lift my head up high.
And let myself fall.
Arms pull me under.
Lips reach for mine.
I’m lost for eternity.
Lost to the rushing wind.
Held prisoner of the ultimate despair.
Partner in pain and sorrow.
The choice is made and done.
I float away with my dear one.
Together we will forge a path
Through darkness and hell
To the heavenly place beyond.
Frozen in place.
Dripping tears for centuries.
Memories of a lifetime.
Praying for salvation.
A frown for eternity.
A garden for The Dead.

The orange glow.

🔪🔪🔪
A demon from hell.
Is this Wolf?
Who loved me so well.
My one evil love.
I miss him dearly.
My life in ruins.
You can see clearly
The evil inside.
I bow down my head.
I say a prayer.
He has made his bed.
For eternity.
