Color my world.
In shades of purple.
In hues of violet.
Cover the world
The good.
The bad.
The ugly.
In purple.
Color my world.
In shades of purple.
In hues of violet.
Cover the world
The good.
The bad.
The ugly.
In purple.
Nature has its own beauty.
Its radiance comes from within.
Blossoming from a mere seed
To give color and light to the world.
Your touch brings me warmth.
It adds color to my transparent slate.
I feel your fingers stroking.
Your palm pressing.
Dig deeper into my pain.
Become one with me.
Eyes follow you.
Snap at you.
Sharp teeth.
Crushing jaws.
Colors surround you.
Murky water.
Deep mud.
Swirling.
Around and around.
Happy dreams.
BLUE
It calls to me this night.
I will close my eyes tight.
I still can see the blue.
It lights up me and you.
I open my eyes and see
what I don’t believe can be.
Mountains and water so blue
even your face has the hue.
Bring a little color to the white,
Cascade down the bricks every night.
Roses will soon bring red to the scheme,
Adding so much more to the scene.
Smouldering Heart of the Blues by ecstaticist on Flickr.
The blue sucks me in.
Velvet petals caress my face.
A buzzing bee whizzes past.
I’m inside the midnight blue darkness.
My head spins from its heady fragrance.
Lines of poetry beg to be written.
Will I yield to the blue darkness?
It’s a trap I cannot escape.

The river bleeds pink.
Low-hanging trees
drip the rich color.
Falling leaves
leave pink trails.
Childlike strokes
fingerpaint the river.
A river of neon pink.
In the bleak whiteness
I stand out.
In the freezing landscape
I burn hot.
In the colorless background
I am pink.
See me.
Touch me.
Love me.
