Icy water surrounds me.
The cold pulls me deep.
Into the unknown, I sink.
Waves tear at me.
I hold my head
above the water.
I will survive.
Can you see The Dead?
Shadows walk the town
while all are in bed.
HIde in your home
and turn a blind eye
while The Dead roam.
Bloodsuckers by night.
They walk among us.
No need to take fright.
PREY FOR THE DEAD
I walk alone at night
when the moon is full height.
The sky black as tar,
but I won’t walk far.
I search for the shadow
on the road so narrow.
I want to see who he’s become,
The Dead leader, the evil one.
PREY FOR THE DEAD

Shadows surround me.
Footsteps behind me.
Hands circle my neck.
Is that a love peck?
He takes my blood.
I fall in a red flood.
Will I belong to him?
He watches with a grin.
I’ve become a nightwalker,
a present from my stalker.

Let the leaves change colors & fall.
Shades of orange, yellow, & red.
Autumn, the best season of all.
Take care when your head hits the bed.
The Dead descend; our town will fall.

Happy first day of fall from
THE DEAD GAME SERIES
Let the leaves change colors and fall.
Shades of orange, red, and yellow.
Autumn, the best season of all.
We are coming to a town near you.
We walk the nights.
When morning comes,
we’re gone but not forgotten.

Calm blue waters.
Pink sand.
Palm trees wave in the sea breeze.
A burst of wind lifts the palm trees.
From their roots, they fly.
From their anchors in the sand.
A puff of wind
and they’re gone.
The mind’s eye.
Portals to our souls.
Our words can hide our lies,
but our eyes can’t.
The sun sets.
The animals prepare for the night.
The old elephant stands in his place.
He doesn’t need to move.
He has everything he needs.
He keeps a watchful eye
As he stands in his place.
