ONE SONG

ONE SONG

Sing me a love song.

Rhyme me a sad tale.

The woe of heartbroken lovers

whose tinny cries take to the air.

The needle rides the grooves.

Round in a circle, it goes.

No beginning or end.

Like a tear that refuses to fall.

A song without an end.

The melody echoes through eternity.

One jump and scratch at a time.

Dublin’s Fair City~

Is really so pretty!

The historic old pubs are lovely,

and fun to explore,

on a good, old-fashioned Irish pub-crawl.

You are guaranteed to make friends because the people are warm, friendly, and often just a tad tipsy!

Dublin is a vibrant, colorful city,

justifiably proud,

of its artistic and literary history.

I am still home at The Holler, but it’s cheers to you from beautiful Dublin~

THE VOICE

The evil lies within.

Each of us has the voice.

The voice enticing us to be bad.

It offers suggestions for revenge.

Immoral ways to succeed.

It never sleeps.

It appears in our nightmares.

Forever ready to lead us

down dark pathways.

Always on the hunt for

new followers.

We don’t have to feed it.

But let it starve.

NIGHT WALK

Night Walk – {by Tiina Törmänen} | {Official WebSite}

Walk the night.

The cold wraps you in a cocoon

filled with the fresh scent of snowfall.

Listen as the snow falls.

It brushes the ground and branches

with a white brushstroke against a dark canvas.

Look to the twinkling stars.

Bright spots dodge grey clouds

to peek at the dusted ground below.

Snowflakes mist your hair

and land on your tongue.

Take a deep breath.

Engage your senses.

Walk the night.

A THANKSGIVING SPIN

A THANKSGIVING SPIN

Sweet and tasty it may be.

It does not come for free.

Life was given up

For this group to sup.

What are your holiday wishes?

And what could be the side dishes?

Some sliced fingers on a crystal plate

May satisfy your cravings of late.

Enjoy!
