DEATH

blackout raven:

DEATH

Can you see it?

Can you feel it?

It circles the town.

On windswept nights.

Low in the darkening shadows.

Waiting and watching.

For the perfect moment.

When the moon rides high.

And the stars twinkle bright.

Death will make its entrance.

Circling closer to its prey.

Claws extended.

Beak facing down.

Its clutch sharp and pointy.

Who will save us now?

That’s a remarkable photo – talk about “windswept nights”

I agree. I found it on tumblr.com. I practice my writing by finding pictures to write about. It has become a daily habit for me. So much easier than writing my book, which I have to do today.

It is. Have I written my book yet today? No. If only the phone would stop ringing.
