I’ll take a walk through the soft sand.
Dip my toes into the ocean.
Let the cold water soothe me.
The sun hit my face.
The salty breeze ruffle my hair.
A perfect paradise.
Until I feel the pressure.
A pulling on my leg.
A hand reaches for me.
It’s coming out of the ocean.
Time to leave my perfect fantasy.
Life has a way of interfering.
In the form of demons.
Some of our own making.
Some created by others.
This demon is rising from the ocean.
It looks a little like a pile of clothing.
I know what it is.
It’s the demon of laundry.
An ever present and growing demon.
Will a stack of dishes be next?
Goodbye demons!
I’m going back to my fantasy.
I can see dolphins swimming by the shore.
See you later!
Such are the interesting notorious demons of life. Almost as the eternal sea, we swim with the very same. That for the journey. 😊

Thanks. Demons can take on many forms. We need a rest from them by any way that we can.

Laundry does seem to hide until it’s a large enough pile to consume small children.
