What if the moon fell from the sky?
One night, it decided to desert the sky.
Leave the dark sky by itself,
with only the stars for company.
Who would bring light to the earth?
Light needed in the dark of night.
Light needed to brighten streets and alleyways.
Light for those saddened by the night.
Light taken for granted.
But no more.
The moon would not be taken for granted.
It would be missed and yearned for.
Upon its return the next night,
it would be welcomed with joy.
Hello moon.
Welcome back.

Hi, You noticed that. I liked reading that book to my kids. But what if the moon didn’t show up for work? You need someone strange(like me) to think up this problem.

I consider you my secret angel to take away my problems, which reading your words is always helpful!!

You are cordially invited to join me on my outlandish adventures to nowhere. These adventures will use our over-active imaginations to smooth any problems from every day life. I do the words and you do the music. We will sing and dance while everyone runs around looking like chickens without heads. But we’ll be having fun.

It would be fun to have you write music to accompany my words. With music and pictures, all the senses would be engaged. Let me know if you’re really interested.

Susan early this morning I looked up at the moon — even though it wasn’t full, it was so bright and lovely. The moon and I have been “friends” for a very long time. I can remember as a child just sitting in it’s light or walking at night and enjoying how it “walked” with me and my dog. This is a lovely tribute to a dear friend.

A lovely tribute to one of my dearest friends by Author and Poet Suanne Leist. When your an only child it can be quite lonely and the moon’s company when I was home alone at night was a great comfort.

You understood my words and where I was coming from. I grew up with an older brother who wasn’t home much and then died too early. So I understand your feelings of being an only child and having no one to share your dreams with. The moon could be a good friend.
