I can feel the storm approaching.
Moving closer to shore.
A spray of water in my face.
Salt in the air.
Palm trees swaying.
Sand rippling.
A wildness in the air.
Birds fleeing for safety.
Waves crashing.
Sky turning darker.
Red in its anger.
Roaring its fury.
Raining down tears.
When will it end?
Once the sky is finished.
Once it’s calmed down.
The sun will peek out.
The birds will return.
And all will be right
with the world.
Tantrum over.

Red reminds me of anger. I was told it could be passion. But red to me is anger and a certain wildness. I hope your skies turn blue soon.

That’s interesting. I always associate red with anger. Next time I’ll try to use it for love and passion. I have to find the appropriate picture.

Red is such an interesting color to correlate with emotion, because it’s on both ends of the spectrum. On one end you have happiness, falling in love, infatuation with someone, passion, all that. On the other end, you’ve got obsession, jealousy, danger, fear, anger and frustration.
